The absolute majority of Zelda fics are a rehearsal of Link's adventures... after he completed them. Thankfully, this isn't the case. I won't say more than the synopsis already does.
Only one flaw bothered me: Ganondorf is played as a reckless berserker that doesn't know even how to swing a sword properly. Most of his plans are very basic, and he leaves some glaring holes in his defenses. In the games, everything you could take an advantage of when Storming The Castle was a set-up. Here? Not exactly.
The story is also incredibly short, but I attribute that mostly to Zelda already knowing what was coming.
