Oh. This thing. Oh God Why.

To be clear, the concept itself is solid and original. The execution of it, in the first two or three chapters, is not bad. The majority of what follows could be considered some of the worst material ever spewed by PL. Saying that the man is sensitive is inaccurate.

Perfect Lionheart demonstrates steadfast intolerance to any criticism, positive or otherwise, and has been quoted as saying that "if [his] mistake(s) get pointed out, [he] will have to make more of them just to [be spiteful]." This is a man who deliberately damages his own story under the beliefs that doing so is punishment to his readers, further, that they deserve the punishment.

Ignoring who he has demonstrated himself to be as a person, his version of Naruto in this story is a complete sociopath. His characterization of women, when it isn't misogynistic, is downright horrifying and enough to render one physically ill.

Calling this fic 'good' or anything of the like is a tragic and disgusting misnomer. What this fic amounts to is a good concept turned terrible by an author who has demonstrated himself capable of writing well, but deliberately choosing to construct and focus upon disturbing, and increasingly twisted self-insert reinterpretations of various characters.

An entire thread on the Spacebattles Forum has been devoted specifically to examining every aspect of this fic that PL did incredibly, fantastically wrong.

Reader beware, this fanfic is shit.
