The Pokemon Stadium games have not been re-released on the Virtual console. And even if they did, they would've also made an app for the 3DS to use VC Pokemon games onto the Stadium games wirelessly between both the 3DS and the Wii U like how Pokemon Battle Revolution did with the DS games. But since the Wii U was failing to meet expectations (even below the lowered sales forecast), it was scrapped in favor of Pokemon Sun and Moon, as you can transfer Pokemon not just from X&Y and ORAS, but also the VC Pokemon games to Sun and Moon and its updated re-releases in the form of Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. Also, the Virtual Console service is gone... Nintendo tends to ignore our requests and pleas as we needed something from the Big N that will make us happy.

But we are just a bunch of suckers that should've believed that the Wii U was a game console instead of an addon... If you didn't own a Wii U or a 3DS of any kind during that time period, then I pity you. The Wii U sold less than the Game Cube, and that's why Nintendo lost some of its fans. The end of Nintendo Power must have caused the Wii U sales to start dropping. The refusal of lowering the price below $300, and lack of third party support doomed the Wii U from the start. The second (and unfortunately last) price drop was after it was announced it was being discontinued. How could we dismiss the Wii U thinking it's an extension to the Wii and not an entirely different console? What were we thinking? They scrapped plans for Game Cube games in favor of a couple of Zelda games seen on the Game Cube and remade them in HD. The speedrunning community was ecstatic after seeing that Barrier Skip can be done in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.

Anyway, with the Nintendo Switch available, everything about the Wii U is set in stone. Cheers.
