Yes, it doesn't. At the best it's an Expy or Suspiciously Similar Substitute. Cut.
Regarding Broken Base, does the 6 month rule start from when it came out in Japan or overseas?
I can't draw Hide / Show RepliesJapanese.
In the English version the game says 1 year, the Japanese version says half a year.
1 year is definitely Qliphoth World and half a year is Qliphoth World and/or Ideal Reality (because both of these happened back to back).
Edited by Mr-ex777I do believe you misunderstood the question. Broken Base has a rule that all entries must be added six months after release. They are asking if that is six months from the Japanese release date or from the English. They'renot asking about anything in game.
<DIE THE DEATH> <SENTENCE TO DEATH> <GREAT EQUALIZER IS THE DEATH>About this entry:
- Strawman Has a Point: Zenkichi is meant to come off as more reasonable during an argument with his daughter Akane, but she ultimately makes a pretty good point about him that the game glosses over. Akane may have been threatened by The Conspiracy, but Akane was right for pointing out that Zenkichi still pinned his wife's murder on the secretary of the man who actually did it, letting him get away with murder and leaving the family of the falsely-accused secretary with guilt and shame over a crime they didn't commit. And all while Zenkichi was covering up the murder of his own wife. Keep in mind that Akane was brainwashed during the argument and was thus portrayed as unreasonable and consumed with rage, but she still rightfully points out her father's role as an accessory to murder who kept quiet only for his own happiness. Granted, Zenkichi does acknowledge he completely messed this up and gets better, but Akane's point about Zenkichi being selfish is still pretty reasonable.
Wasn't the whole point of that plot the fact that Zenkichi was handling it poorly and that he was wrong? I really don't see Akane as a strawman here.
About this:
This doesn't feel like it fits under "They Wasted A Perfectly Good Character." At best, it's "Suspiciously Similar Substitute" with a pinch of Fanfic Fuel. I don't see why the fact that Zenkichi and Dojima share a few similarities implies that a character that isn't even in the game was wasted. So... someone please explain?
