Can Superman's treatment in the New 52 be considered a real life case of Too Many Cooks Spoil the Soup? The whole point of his reboot was to make him a more fallible and human character; without his years of wisdom and experience, he could be reinterpreted as more impulsive and passionate about his duties. Unfortunately, the writers had no idea to capitalize on this, so they made him come off as hot-headed and careless at best and an outright bully at worst. In the end, writers were more interested in delivering their own portrayals of Superman instead of delivering a single, more cohesive narrative.
