I'm wondering if I should add Garu as a subject of Die for Our Ship and/or maybe Americans Hate Tingle cause he doesn't seem to get as much attention as the other clan members, with the ao3 filters not even having him in the top 10 characters AND ships. I did read a reddit post discussing his unpopularity mainly being due to his childish appearance and personality being too Squicky to be attractive, which I think the kind of reception is more common at least in the West. Altough, I'm not sure what the reception of his character is in the East. I also personally dislike him for the reasons mentioned, but I'm just one person.
