Is it possible to unlock the page once more? I know Lily is a contentious figure, but I’m not entirely sure why people are locking so many of pages of her various works. Perhaps it’s something I’m missing?

This page is a bit dishonest considering it glances (or softens) a lot of the elements that make Poke Madhouse not suitable for every reader, i think its important to acknowledge these so the reader doesn't get a nasty surprise when they expect it to conform to the standard of wholesome and fluffy it advertises as. For example: -The mating bond can be read as an allusion or allegory to rape no matter how hard Lily denies it. Intentional or not its fair to acknowledge that it can come off that way. -There is a good amount of toxic relationship behaviors in this comic that are portrayed as normal or the right thing . Comic Mikaila manipulates Comic Lily into not severing the bond with G. While yes G could die, the way she bonded C Lily to her deprived an underage girl of bodily/Mental autonomy so C Lily has the right to cut that off. The way C Mikaila also manipulates C Lily is to compare her to her abusive ex which is shady. . Gardevoir was a fully grown Pokemon when she fell in love with her, Lily was a teen. G is stated to have given her oral sex when Lily was drunk and in high school at this time. Ouch. .Bonnie isnt really given discipline for her actions like its ok to tell a child why what they did was wrong and its pretty unwise to leave her around G, as G has been known to attack children violently (Cala and two bully boys) .C Mikaila gives into G's unreasonable demands a lot and wont really stand by her fiancee or bring up that G is abusive . -Lore is dumped on the wiki and forgotten about in canon like dont do that its annoying

What you said is true, though I worry that if a different tone was used then some will accuse the user who adds it of ' bashing the creator' as has happened with me before. This comic would be soft if the mating bond had never been a part of the storyline and I personally would have liked it far more if Lily had not implemented that plot point since it ruins a lot of the characterization in my opinion. I'm not sure if Lily has ever given it a rating so I'm not sure if the 'what do you mean it's for/not-for kids ' trope would matter. I will say this since others are questioning me, I liked the comics early storylines but since Violation I have found it harder to enjoy reading it. But it's mostly alright for a free webcomic.

There is a right way and a wrong way to write these tropes. Your issues with Violate belong under Broken Base, not Nightmare Fuel. And your issues with Comic!Mikaila's comparison to Lily's abusive ex belongs under Designated Hero. If you look under Broken Base, Base Breaking Character and Moral Event Horizon, many of your issues with the comic are already listed here, just in far less needlessly accusatory ways.

Add tropes properly, or just bring it to discussion so it can be hashed out before you devolve into edit wars.

I'm going to continue cleaning up the page unless a mod tells me I'm out of line.

Also, Strawberry Miltank, a lot of your complaints are you taking silly jokes way too seriously or deliberately cursed text posts on Lily's blog as if they were gospel. The Tropes page only covers the actual comic, and only covers the material that is actually in the work.

Im sorry morpmorp but fans do also read the cursed posts and only recently did Lily say they werent canon (still creepy with that "silly joke" though considering how the comic has violate though)

Violate should be under nightmare fuel though because its an incredibly messed up moment that comes out of nowhere.

Im also a bit concerned on your amount of aversion to criticism and pointing out the darker/less savory moments of Lily's works , it makes your editing look like you're trying to protect a creator rather than be truthful about what she's written . Hatedom is bad but obsessive fandom is just as awful .

I honestly feel like Designated Villain probably applies to Dr Ponytail…. While saying she’ll terminate Bonnie was harsh from her perspective she created a potentially dangerous hybrid (and while Bonnie wasn’t dangerous assuming Mewtwo Exists in madhouse then she has good reasons to assume that a failed attempt at cloning could have a very dangerous result) top of all that she’s portrayed as the wrong for being mad at G for tampering with the cloning machine when she has every right to be angry at G as it could have ruined the entire experiment … hell Arguably Ponytail is actually letting Lily and G get off easy by only banning them from Silph Co and not calling the police … the only reason that we are supposed to treat her like a Hate Sink is because Lily and G don’t like her but in any other comic … she’d be in the right in this scenario

Edit: also Ponytail even allows Bonnie to live with Lily and doesn’t try to convince her let Ponytail kill Bonnie … we are supposed to assume she’s an evil child murderer when she only suggested it once and never again

In my opinion, the entry for Hollywood Pudgy was better in its old version than its new one.

The old phrasing made it clear what some people's problem with Marah's design was: "Some were excited to hear that a plus-size character was going to be added, and were disappointed to see that Marah was only a little bit wider and curvier than G, and not what anyone would call " plus size"."

The new phrasing gives less of a description of what Marah looks like, and it also gratuitously mentions the opinion of people who don't consider her to be Hollywood Pudgy. That's pointless. When we write a The Woobie entry, we don't need to explain why some people DON'T consider somebody a woobie. When we write a Funny Moment, we don't bother mentioning that some people don't find it that funny.

"Depending on the viewer, Marah is either a Big Beautiful Woman or a skinny woman being passed off as pudgy when compared to a character who has the proportions of a stick."

I noticed that was changed by Morpmorp too but since I'm waiting to see what the mods think about their revamps of edits by others, I didn't want to try and re-edit it back. But I am not the only one who thought Marah was not plus size. She looks average and only plus-sized compared to the way Mikaila draws everyone else. She comes accross curvy but still skinny in my opinion.
