Although I have no reason to doubt Charles Phipps' good faith, I submit that his decision to remove the soft split on Legacy's YMMV page was improper. When I asked how to set up subpages for Fanfic.Legacy, I was told that softsplitting the page was the only option. One of the wiki software's technical limitations is that unrelated works with the same title must share subpages. "Legacy" is an extremely common work title, and removing the split is as likely to cause confusion as to prevent it, not to mention making it impossible to post YMMV tropes for any other work that happens to share the comic book's title.

Bigotry in the name of inclusion is still bigotry.
