Removed points —

  • Complacent Gaming Syndrome: this was plain way too bloated to make its point and needed trimming, it was two paragraphs plus a paragraph-long quote.
  • Eight Deadly Words: Largely just reorganized for flow, makes the same points as before.
  • Lost in Medias Res: The need to complain about the terminology yet again is unnecessary, the trope is about poor use of flashbacks, good or poor use of terminology within them will not fix FF 13's problems with its flashbacks.
  • Narm: Narm is for when serious moments become unintentionally funny. Nora's death is definitely not Narm, and I want to meet the people who question how she died when she had an explosion go off a few feet behind her, because I thought everyone understood explosions are dangerous and you don't want to stand near them. The two soundtracks notes are not Narm simply on account that it is not "a scene intended to be serious instead becomes funny", it's just complaining the soundtrack doesn't match the scene

As for all the You Tube links to whomever that analyst is, links that like are not necessary nor should they be, a trope entry should be able to make its own point. The removed Complacent Gaming Syndrome for instance, the quote makes the point, there is no need to link the video the quote comes from. Things like Memetic Mutation, a link to a You Tube vid or other outside source can be used to demonstrate the meme, but it can also be explained in an accompanying note. But there are better ways to allow a reader to understand the point a trope is making without making them watch a You Tube video, and if they can understand the point without the vid, the vid is not needed.
