Removing this:

  • The Wesley: Jonathan Kent, son of Clark and Lois. Soooo much. He has been a central figure appearing prominently (and some may find) obnoxiously in practically every Superman and Action Comics issue since the Rebirth started.

Firstly, the trope is just called Creator's Pet now. No need to add its old name in, especially the way it was done.

The entry is also rather awkwardly written and doesn't really go into why he's a Creators Pet beyond the fact he's 'obnoxiously in practically every issue'. It doesn't say what about him grates fans.

Which itself is another thing, is this even a widespread thing? Pretty much everyone I've spoken to about the run has sung praised for Jon, he's pretty much held up by the people I know as how kid superhero characters should be handled.

That is seriously the first time I've heard anyone badmouthing Jon. It's definitely not widespread.

A largish chunk of information was removed from the Author's Saving Throw entry with no explanation given for its removal. Specifically, this bit:

"Helena Bertinelli once again being Huntress and a member of the Birds of Prey, or Wally West (whose New 52 incarnation has been a notorious Base Breaker) being Kid Flash and wearing his classic Silver Age costume."

Since this is factual information and fits with the trope (in context, of course), and because no reason was given for its deletion, I propose putting it back in.

For what it's worth, I agree with you. But I can also see how that entry can be divisive.

Well, there's been no other input, so I guess I'll put this back in. I'll remove or reword the Base Breaker part to make it not so pointed.
