You say that as if the role playing community is well known or popular. Frankly I have never heard anyone mention that before on other sites, and saying that a minor R.P community is the real daddy is like saying Lopunny or Gardevoir's real daddies are Rule 34 artists.
Frankly Rule 34 has more claim to being the real daddy of characters than a R.P forum.
There Is No Such Thing as Notability is a rule of the site. Not being “popular enough” by your standards is not reason enough to delete it. Please stop doing so.
Edited by FallenLegend Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love."They may or may not have created the character, but they definitely created the one you know." is the Laconic of My Real Daddy. I do not see people describing Armani Dove with unique take as done by your character on other sites the way Claremont's X-Men are, for example.
Now, if another fanfiction writer was to write Armani and the way he used him was considered superior to Broken Bow, that is 'My Real Daddy'. Not what you are saying.
If you want to do so, might I suggest expalining what makes that forum writer Armani's Real Daddy? Perhaps he added a specific foil, a specific storyline, a specific change to what Xed wrote.
Edited by KrspaceTNo.
The criteria of the tropes is a certain version being the one certain people known.
The roleplay community knows the version made by that troper more than the original. It fits.
Now this things you mention like
- 1.- Being more well known by another fanfic author
- 2.- “I have to have heard of him elsewhere”
Are not requirements for the trope to apply.
Again you are dismissing a community just becuase it’s not notable enough for you
I invite you to read this There Is No Such Thingas Notability
I also want to remind you this is a subjetive trope.
Edited by FallenLegend Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Yes. He writes the version the roleplaying commiunity knows.
It doesn’t need anything else.
Edited by FallenLegend Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Shall I go to the Disney Robin Hood section and say his real daddy is furries? No.
That is what you are suggesting.
Plus, do tell, how much do they care for the guy when I looked over the page. Armani Dove doesn't have a thing to his name on the information page. Such a pivotal character, him.
...I mean let's go further. Optimus Prime is probably best known for his Unicron Trilogy and Movie appearances, does that make THEM his real daddy?
Does the fact that many people likely first saw Donald Duck in Quackpack make that his Real Daddy?
....Do you not see the fault of your logic?
I see that you don’t seem to understand what the trope “my reall daddy is”
It’s a subjetive trope for one. Meaning everyone’s opinion will differ.
Using furries is a false equivalence.
He created a version a certain community knowns more than the original. That’s why it applies. You’re creating requirements that don’t exist for the trope to apply.
Again “lack of notability” or “not having tropes” are not good excuses for you to delete it.
Edited by FallenLegend Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.Yes because your trope gets to be all special.
News flash, you don't see entries about being real daddys to a single community, but a character or concept overall. Which is not what your little forum is.
Real the My Real Daddy entries and find me the one that sounds even vaguely like what you keep spammin'.
Literally all of them.
The single character Armani is more well known by a different author to a certian commuinity. It fits perfectly.
Again “lack of notability” or “not having tropes” are not good excuses for you to delete it.
Edited by FallenLegend Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.I also remind you this is a subjetive trope therefore nobdoy is diminishing Xed Alpha’s work.
Edited by FallenLegend Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love.I don't see a 'most known in the X Community' bits. It's for GENERAL fans.
Which a RP Forum is not.
It is more comparable, as previously said, to the Furry community being a real daddy.
You also fail to explain why they are a real daddy. What is the 'RP' Armani Dove version and how does he differ from the real Armani Dove
No. “General fans” whatever that means, is not a requirement for the trope. Again “lack of notability” or “not having tropes” are not good excuses for you to delete it.
2.- He differs from Armani plenty by the nature of the plots of the rpg (for one this armani has the power of Thor) and he got approval by Xed Alpha herself who read his version.
3.- “Furry community” =/= single author. I’m adding a single author.
Edited by FallenLegend Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. You are writing for a niche audience, and I have yet to be shown what it is. If you can't write down what he is different beyond suggesting he has a vague additional power set (and what, he is Marvel Thor? Riordan Thor child? Be specific if you want to trope), than it can't be that good.
I use furry community to point out a niche fanbase. Like a Role Playing forum.
Oh, and here's a new reason I will be deleting your attempts to put that up: Vague Comment, too general.
“It can’t be good” is a standard of your subjetive taste. Xed A Lpha herself approved his version. Seems good enough to me.
Again The trope “my real daddy” doesn’t exclude niche communities.
I will have to contact and admistrator given you are deleting it on bad faith.
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. And you keep adding things that work on your own little interpretation of how a trope works.
I won’t put it back to avoid an edit war. But I’m afraid I will contact an administator as you’re deleting it on bad faith to win an argument and not becuase you want to contribute to the wiki.
Make your hearth shine through the darkest night; let it transform hate into kindness, evil into justice, and loneliness into love. And I've added plenty to the site. On YMMV here alone, you see Hil/Harsher in Hindsight: All mine.
The Fridge Page: all mine.
Look at my contributions.

Here they be. I do far more than keeping you from putting in bunk info.
User Krspace T made a mistake by deleting the my real daddy example. Like I said another person is more well known for using the character in the forum’s roleplaying community.
“His page doesn’t have enough tropes” is not good enough criteria to deny the trope applies
