Here's the thing: Fluid Anims wasn't meant to be completely focused on Stick Animation (Stick Page is, though), it was meant to be a second Newgrounds for comparison and it has a Spiritual Successor called "Hyun's Dojo", owned by Hyun.

Anyways, Stickpage is a completely separate entity, stretching as far back as 2002 initially as Crazy Jay's website for stickman animation. Now, at some point, probably due to financial and maintenance concerns, the community of Fluid Anims got merged -into- Stickpage's while the FA site got shut down...forever. Point is, Stick Figure Animation, while it was a major part of FA, it's not everything it has. (It sure is Stick Page's hat though)

Another thing: RHG isn't a genre, it's an Original Character League. Think Original Character Tournament but minus the Tournament Arc (sorta like SDL from Deviant Art or Enter Void). Basically two animators pit their characters against each other in a showcase of skill and spectacle and they get voted on by the public through various criteria. Animating prowess, storytelling, plausibility, maybe some popularity. There's also a written counterpart, focusing less on visual spectacle and more on author prowess with their own set of stars, but let's save that for another time.

Also, the Wikia isn't official, just thought you should know about that.

Also also, Crazy Jay is the mascot of Stickpage.

Edited by GuardianTempest I only came here to fix RHG-related things and spruce up the Waterworks pages. (pls help, it needs attention badly) Hide / Show Replies
