I think there are enough disparate entries in this series to merit a franchise page. Examples from multiple games would be listed there, along with a basic history and links to these sepparate pages:

Prince of Persia (1989) for the original trilogy.
The Sands of Time Trilogy
- Prince Of Persia The Forgotten Sands may or may not have it's own page.
Prince of Persia (2008).
The 2010 film adaptation.
And the 2008 graphic novel written by Jordan Mechner
