Was any of that actually confirmed? I mean, the mage-templar war is kind of a given, but still, wasn't all of this rumor or pre-production planning? Who knows what's happened with this game.
Hide / Show RepliesThe Mage-Templar war is a given, as you say.
The geography was taken from some convention panel I cannot find a link to again, but they showed the big map with the areas outlined in the article highlighted, so it's pretty official now.
The bit about you having to rebuild the Inquisition is implied by the title, plus the in-universe lore about the Inquisition being the precursor of the Templars and the Seekers.
I want to put a note on the YMMV page about how the now-mandatory multiplayer addition is rousing ire and... well, not hope, but a wait-and-see attitude in the fanbase. I thought Base Breaker was the appropriate trope, but it seems that's reserved for characters. So what should be used instead? Internet Backdraft? I haven't seen that many flame wars overs it.
Hide / Show RepliesBase Breaker is not reserved for characters. Any change that causes both massive approval and massive disapproval among the fans qualifies as a Base Breaker.
And the first official art has been released! Most exciting one is the first one. My bet is those are Qunari vehicles. And the third is probably Inquisition HQ.
