Hexsquad’s awarness.

I believe the part about them being aware of Luz being gone at least temporarily should be removed since there is some issues with this interpretation. I will list several reasons why this idea is incorrect. For one when they saw the lights they may believe this phenomenon is limited to palismans even if hunter has seen palismans destroyed before their essence were always absorbed by Bellow so there is a reason if he has never seen them before. Another reason is due to the amount of attachment Amity has to Luz I hardly believe she is aware of what happened. Amity has gotten attach to Luz so strongly that by the time of Grom the fear of Luz rejecting her overrode any fears related to an abusive and controlling parent or any form of the fear of failure. If Amity was aware of what happened then I would not be surprised if she was so inconsolable that she would actually end up being more motionless than when she was a puppet. Even if she did have the strength to continue helping people I do not believe that she could do this without crying. When she thought Luz rejected her in the Hooty tunnel of love she shed a tear, when she was grounded and did not know if Luz was ok she was on the verge of tears. It is simply impossible she could be without tears if she was aware what happened to Luz. Honestly I would expect any or all of the Hexsquad to shed tears even if they were trying to rescue people. To be honest I believe their sadden yet not devastated emotional state is believe she is in trouble after all she just got her new palisman so they could be worried she lost Stringbean and the last they saw of her the Collector was trying to give her nightmares. If anything they are sadden by the fact that they did not know Luz’s condition at the time, especially Amity who seems the most distressed since she can not help her girlfriend at the time. One last clue to them not being aware is the fact when Luz was reunited with Amity if she was aware of what happened it would be that she would have tears of joy at seeing her girlfriend again but since the joy of reuniting with her was not to that extent I doubt she actually knows what happened at the time. Amity may have had years of bottling her emotions and showing a stoic expression but what this series shows again and again is this stoicism does not work when it comes to Luz. Due to the fact Amity was able to keep her composure intact as much as she did I do not believe she or the other members of the Hexsquad were aware of what happened to Luz, it was more like sensing something bad happened rather than knowing she was temporarily gone otherwise things would have been much more emotional. Another important detail to point out is since when has this show ever refrained from showing intense emotional scenes? If they actually knew what happened we would have seen vastly different scenes.
