I'd call it ship tease myself (though i am quite late to this party.)

It is worth drawing attention to the writer's unofficial-but-hinted-as-intended fanon/missing scene, which explicitly mentions bow and glimmer making out, and it is likely that Dreamworks either drew the line somewhere or that Noelle knew not to risk including the real and raw and honestly quite understandable display of romance in official scripts out of fear of cancellation, replacement or censorship for going too far for Dreamworks or Netflix. Not sure.

I would also like to note a mostly unrelated thing based on my own perspective and interpretation when observing scenes between Catra and Adora.

Firstly, It's uncertain if this is present deliberately or not, or if it is perhaps an artefact of the animated medium, but every now and then - such as in the ball episode and after her rescue from Horde Prime - Catra appears to slow-blink at Adora. It is commonly believed that when a cat blinks slowly and deliberately at you, it is a sign of trust and affection, often referred to as a 'kitty kiss'.

After noticing this and commenting on it, a friend linked me to the 'cut content' short story that is generally accepted as having been written by Noelle, and that explicitly features a deliberate slow-blink. It doesn't outright say what it means but implies strongly that it has significance. This is probably more relevant for a YMMV entry if at all, however, given the circumstantial-at-best evidence.

Another observation that I feel could be emphasised is related to an existing entry:

> "Inside Light Hope's temple, we see Adora cannot stop thinking about Catra. The temple still has the ability to show memories and holograms, which for Adora are all about Catra. One even comes very close to Adora and touches her cheek in a romantic way."

The last sentence fails to capture exactly how strongly this idea is communicated here. As the hologram-catra reaches out to her face and leans in to gaze at Adora, you can *hear* her breath catch in a way that is incredibly evocative of her feelings. It is a sound that is unmistakable, way beyond mere platonic surprise, and most definitely at minimum indicative of a deep romantic connection, if not something more.

As a disaster lesbian myself, I relate to this moment hard. The moment of all of those past emotional connections and confusing thoughts and uncertainties about how someone you care for deeply feels about you resolving, in one moment, at a sign that perhaps the way you feel is the way they feel as well.

Given it is not real, this brief foreshadowing of Catra's eventual confession of love doesn't take away from the moment, instead being the catalyst driving up anticipation for the climax.

There's a lot of other moments, most already touched on, that increasingly evoke this connection.

Anyway if anyone ever reads this (especially if you are or know anyone who is queer) let me know if you think my interpretations seem reasonable or valid or if my biases may be clouding my interpretation.

I'm here for you ♥

Do Bow and Glimmer moments count as Ship Tease or Relationship Writing Fumble? Some tropers have decided it does not belong on the Ship Tease page due to some show runners saying they feel the two have a sibling like relationship, but Catra and Adora who are prominent on the page, have also been stated both by show runners and official media to be like sisters.
