There is a new Facebook version of "$100,000 Pyramid," where they have lists of 6, and your 3 categories are pre-chosen. To get to the Winner's Circle, like the Sierra PC 2001 Version of "The $100,000 Pyramid," there is a target score. You must, however, BEAT it, not MEET it.
They have two special spaces:
1) "big 6" has a chance to win a cash prize of $100-$5000 for 6 out of 6. 2) A golden triangle in a red circle means you have the right to play for a "win only" collection item (which you get for 6 out of 6). Each level has 4 collections, and each collection has 5 items (4 you can buy with what you win from the game, the last you must either earn by getting 6 out of 6 in your own game, or if one of your friends "passes the Pyramid" to you and it happens to be that special category and you get 6 of 6).
Only caution is you can only have 2 clues for each item unless you spend Clue Coins for an extra clue (it takes 10 correct answers to get enough for an extra clue)—no doubt this was for those who wanted us to "buy a clue"?
For the Winner's Circle, after the first time, for each consecutive trip you AUTOMATICALLY win $25,000. You then must type in 3 categories given a list of items. You start with 3 and can buy one extra one. The boxes are worth $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000. Getting all 3 gives you $25,000, while those that got turned to their categories (which happens when you get it right) are only worth their value if time runs out before you get the last one.
You can "pass the pyramid" by letting your Facebook friends try to answer one of your "main game categories" (if they get 6 of 6, you get $25,000 if you didn't get it in the Winner's Circle, or $100,000 if you won the Winner's Circle). You can also have a chance for a collection item for 6 of 6 if the special item shows in the upper right corner once you play it.
I don't see how a game could end after only three rounds. Explain?
Hide / Show RepliesIF a round is a seven-answer category, if the first person ACES the first category/round, AND if the person who picks the second and third round (categories 2 and 3) aka Contestant #2 completely blows their categories(gets NO answers right whatsoever due to time running out and/or having been "cuckooed" for illegal clues) then even if they ran the final category, all Contestant #1 needs is one answer and that's game. I think.
I would like to change the youtube link listed in Screw This, I'm Outta Here because that link is privatized. But I need to confirm: is this the video that trope was referring to?
