  • Historical In-Joke: The Stinger for "Shaq Fu" has the one guy who got the game for 9 to 5 instead finally clearing it. "Equal pay for equal work! You CAN have it all!" Yeah, about that...

Pulled this because it's making the trope a guessing game. I honestly have no idea what it's alluding to.

Is this Foreshadowing, Chekhov's Gun, or a Call-Back?:

  • In the first episode, Jess mentions that her brother-in-law just got a brand new Miata, which Louis highly doubts is actually new. The car shows up in "Success Perm" and it turns out it's used.

Call-Back, I'd argue. It's not a plot point per se, but more like a running gag that catches up with them in the end.

For "Ooh, Me Accent's Slipping", I'm sure it's the parents themselves, not their actors, that are doing the accent slipping. Just a wording thing.
