I personally think this first person POV format impedes the information relay aspect of the page.
Hide / Show RepliesI concur but aint nothing that can be done about it.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! You could always start an objective, factual page on the Joker.
"But... nobody told me I needed a signature!"This page doesn't read like the Joker to me. It comes off as really...well, amateurish for lack of a better word. Someone who had heard of the Joker but never actually read anything about him, imitating a wild cheese monkey violence style. Eh.
Hide / Show RepliesConfession: I wrote this page (well, half of the description - the other half, and almost all of the tropes, were added by various other Tropers) back in my early days of fandom. Back then, I was already a huge fan of the J-man, but my fanfic skills, to put it lightly, sucked donkey balls.
Later on, I tried writing a more restrained version of this article, while keeping the same Self-Demonstrating spirit, but was overwhelmingly outvoted by my fellow Tropers.
To keep this? you mean? I do think we should have a second article so that we can learn the little factoids we couldn't otherwise. I for one do not think I would ever add anything here if I thought I had to cackle all the way through.
Done. The Comic Book page is now up.
The subpages need to be cleaned up considerably, though. The first person is supposed to stay on the self demonstrating page.
Why is the Comic Book page a redirect? I think it would work better if it were a separate page.
Hide / Show RepliesIt would. But unless someone actually makes the page, it's better to have the redirect rather than nothing.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I have a question. When I last edited the page, I added a section under Evil Laugh that goes like this: "If you're itching for more (you know you are), then try watching this. Or this." Each "this" contained a link to a Youtube video of Mr. J laughing.
Now, here's the question. I was originally going to add a third "Or this" that links to Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up'. I thought it would be funny, and it seemed like something the Joker would do, but I was worried that if I did it, people would think I was being a troll. What do you think? Should we add that last "Or this", or just leave it out?
Edited by DrNoPuma "Humans and robots living together in harmony and equality. That was my ultimate wish."Which Joker voice should this article be read in? I prefer Mark Hamill's...
There really isn't any point to reading this, I just took the challenge of filling up a text box to the max amount of characters in 1 sente Hide / Show RepliesI would agree with Hamill. Personally think the order is Hamill, Nicholson, Ledger.
WHY OH WHY DID THIS GET CHANGED TO SELF DEMONSTRATING?
The entire YMMV page has been wiped, with all CMOA, CMOH and CMOF pages wiped. What the hell.
Trans rights are human rights. If you don't think that, please leave. Hide / Show RepliesThey weren't wiped. The tabs just weren't compatible with the new namespace.
Edited by ryanasaurus0077- comment removed by OP owing to stupidity. Apologies to all*
What is the Cute Kitten entry referring to? It has basically no context.
"Humans and robots living together in harmony and equality. That was my ultimate wish."
