Pulled:

  • Sense8 was cancelled by Netflix for not raking in enough views to be worth renewing for a third season. While fans have created hashtags, partitions, and even threatened to cancel their subscription en-masse, Netflix has stood firm in that they're not going to renew the series for a third season, however they are funding the creation of a movie to bring closure to the series.

Because at no point does this example mention anything close to Screwed by the Network other than "cancelling a show for bad ratings." It comes across as someone just upset their show was cancelled. If Netflix did something to cause it to falter in ratings that would be one thing, but the entry doesn't even try to claim that.

Heroes Reborn was always meant to be a limited series. Do some research before you start talking smack.

The story about the Monty Python tapes being bought by Terry Gilliam probably doesn't hold much water. Peter Cook and Dudley Moore tried to do something similar for Not Only But Also and were flatly refused, resulting in many episodes being wiped. There's a more credible story about the Pythons asking an engineer to transfer the whole of series 1 on to black and white Shibaden 1/2" reel-to-reel videotapes so they'd have a record if the BBC wiped them. Ray Galton and Alan Simpson did the same thing with Steptoe And Son in the 70s, and the BBC did wipe many episodes. The black and white copies are now the only surviving reference for those episodes, but at least they did survive.

Currently co-writing a webcomic you can't read about on TV Tropes because the admins mistook it for porn.

I think The Hard Times of RJ Berger could use some clarification on how it qualifies here as all it say is the shows ratings took a drastic drop. That just seems like a show failing and getting cancelled rather then a succesful one being sabotaged deliberatly.

Ok here's why Emily's Reasons Why Not should be on here, ABC promoted that show for months on magazines and billboards, they were hoping that the show would have "Sex And The City" level success, but after the pilot pulled in lower ratings then expected, ABC pulled the plug on the show immediately(and Jake In Progress around the same time), you can say it had to do with ratings and reviews, but I think it's more likely that ABC just wanted an excuse to cancel it and Jake so they could replace they're timselots with reality shows(since they're alot cheaper to produce). Oh and please tell me exactly how that show was "homophobic", because I really don't see it at all.

Oh yeah, and there's several others shows that are on the list that got bad ratings and reviews(Imagine That, Sit Down Shut Up, Made In Jersey, etc)So I really see no such reason why Emily can't be on the list as well.
