Re cut: The page being outdated is not really a cut reason. Wiki Magic can handle such issues.

Who exactly is going to update the page, then?

People who come across that roleplay and change the page to account for modifications.

Nobody is going to do that.

An older admin for our site is the person who made the Dango Daikazoku pages years ago. That admin has since moved on and we have since rebooted the site. Nobody on the current site cares for the TV Tropes page. As staff myself, I don't want page full of inaccurate information about our site out on TV Tropes.

"Nobody cares" and "I don't want page full of inaccuracies" contradict each other. Anyhow, still not a reason for cutting a page.

They don't contradict each other. Nobody among CURRENT MEMBERS care. I don't want a page of inaccuracies in case POTENTIAL MEMBERS find the page.

So basically you are forcing me to correct the page myself or leave something barely resembling our current site on here. Even if I were to edit it myself, I'd have to remove nearly everything anyway. Which is why I wanted to go the extra step and just delete it.

Also, it says right on the "Welcome to TV Tropes" page:

>You should delete an example that is: (a) factually inaccurate; (b) using a trope incorrectly; (c) a duplicate; (d) in violation of a rule. (Assuming it can't be fixed, of course.)

Reason (a) is clearly what I am trying to do, so I don't see how this doesn't count.

What I find questionable about your approach is that you are expecting nobody else to apply Wiki Magic to it. Cutting a page means that the article can't be saved. We don't have a guarantee, even a weak one, of that yet.

Do you want me to ask the members of Dango Daikazoku about their intentions for the page? I could supply screenshots of their replies and that way we'll have concrete evidence on whether or not edits are possible.

Well, yours is by all accounts a publicly visible game. Which means that people who don't participate can see it and trope it.

We don't even have ten members, how many lurkers do you think we have? But I guess it doesn't matter whether or not we're ridiculously obscure. I'll stop replying here, because it appears that nothing I say makes any difference. Thanks for your help.

I'll accept that. If the page in a few months is still outdated then one can consider a cut again. I'm just articulating a hope here, basically.

Alright, thanks. I'll keep an eye on it for the next few months, then.

Hi, this is the admin of Dango Daikazoku. As per the discussion in this thread, we elected to leave the inaccurate page of our site on TV Tropes to see if anyone would attempt to correct the information on it. It has been 9 months since our original request, but no one has attempted to correct the information on the page. Since so much time has passed, I would like to reopen this discussion.

My request is that both Dango Daikazoku's pages be cut. As it stands, our roleplay is a very small handful of people. Among our userbase, no one is interested in correcting the mistakes on this TV Tropes page. When the page was originally made, we had a lot more users, several of whom were interested in TV Tropes. Such users have long since left our site.

Nearly every character discussed on the Dango Daikazoku pages have been dropped. We rebooted the site timeline, causing many of the events and tropes described to no longer be true. We don't have many lurkers, if any, outside of our regularly userbase that want to edit the page. This is proven by the fact that the page has stood for 9 months without any edits besides a few redirects.

So, with all of this said, would it be alright if these two pages are cut? If, in the distant future, our forum builds enough traction that it becomes considerably active again, I will have no qualms about a new page being made. I only wish to remove this one because of the high amount of inaccuracy and lack of polish that the page contains; I fear that it may spread misconceptions to any potential members who come across the page.

Thank you for your time.
