Here's an issue I would like to discuss.
- Card-Carrying Jerkass: The whole town quite proudly (literally, as in has it on billboards advertising the place) labels itself "The Meanest City In America".
It this really why Springfield has a billboard that labels it "The Meanest City In America"? For all we know, somebody outside of Springfield could've put that up.

I noticed some entries refer to Joe LaBoot as evil. Is that a fair label? I think the episode wants us to see him as a Jerkass, but I don't think he's supposed to be a villain.
The obsession with this episode on this website is ridiculous - it's not near as hated as you claim, it's just considered to be an average Jean-era episode. I've removed all the rubbish.
