Playing with: I have two characters, a teenage girl and her younger brother. They're trying to get across dangerous territory. At one point, the girl decides to abandon her brother. She hears him get attacked, turns to look, and sees him trying to fight his attackers. She goes back and saves his life, not out of conscience or courage, but envy — she can't bear to be upstaged by her useless little brother. She would have continued on if not for this. Does this fit into any of the unfilled "playing with" categories? Or is this another trope?
