In the "canon" Alan Moore run of Swamp Thing, Constantine constantly refers to Newcastle, but Alan Moore never explains it. It's not until later comics (either Swamp Thing or the Constantine series) when a writer — not Alan Moore — does the Newcastle storyline. Would this be a Noodle Incident? If not, what trope is it when Writer X writes a Noodle and Writer Y explains it (and not always well)? Maybe a Wet Noodle? :)
