I like this game better than God of War. Kratos is a tard. Dante is badass.
This is still a signature. Hide / Show RepliesThank you! I'm so glad someone else agrees that Dante is a better character than Kratos.
You give a man a fire, he's warm for a day. You set a man on fire, he's warm for the rest of his life.'Squick: Even the most hardcore gamer is going to wince at some of the stuff they witness in some of the circles. Like most of the stuff in the "Lust" and "Gluttony" levels.'
I played through the entire game without ever being squicked. I'm hardly a hardcore gamer, I don't really watch horror movies... closest I've come to anything supposedly as disturbing as this is Elfen Lied and Hellsing, and they never bothered me, either.
So... isn't the way that's phrased a little inaccurate?
Now collecting White-Haired Pretty Girls. Hide / Show RepliesOne exception to the rule does not make the point about those levels invalid.
Don't suppose anyone's interested in starting a partition for describing the anime adaption? It could be fun to snark at it.
This has to go better under an advertising trope:
- Crowning Moment Of Funny: The "Wrath" portion of their Seven Deadly Sins based marketing campaign: a box containing a hammer and safety goggles was sent to various gaming media. The catch? When said boxes are opened, a certain song starts playing and the only way to stop it is to smash the hell out of the box. Once the unfortunate recipient is done, they find a scroll claiming that Wrath has damned them to Hell. (Though we suspect it was worth it.)
- One by a certain reviewer as well. Wonder how he's going to comment on the prank...
- He was unamused, but decided that EA's marketing department were going to a deeper circle of Hell, anyway - assuming that working in EA's marketing department isn't a punishment by itself.
- One by a certain reviewer as well. Wonder how he's going to comment on the prank...
I'm putting it under "Viral Marketing" for now
Edited by Yamikuronue BTW, I'm a chick.I have to wonder... Why does so little of the Animated Epic look good. The sudden art-shifts I could handle, if said art-shifts resembled each other in character design at all.
Oh well, at least it gave the world the amazing scene of a horse defying gravity
Edited by GearBoxClock SMOKE WEED Hide / Show RepliesYeah, it was a bit jarring. Especially Dante's hairstyle constantly changing...and Spike Speigel as Satan...
I saw that before playing the game actually, and felt a bit cheated there were no levels on the back of a giant flying lady-horse! Something more games need >;~)
Quick question... Would the thing with the Assassin who killed Dante, Dante's father, and Beatrice getting away with killing them (Karma Houdini) be... subverted or averted? I mean, sure, in life, he gets away with it, but once he dies... we all know what may happen...
