"McCoy is sort of calling the kettle black, considering the ridiculous hippie get-up and beard he was sporting when he first appeared in TMP..."
Wouldn't that also be the WTH, Costuming Department? trope? Or at the very least not his fault?
Edited by 69.172.221.4 Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettColin Baker was in a who-con in Tampa when he was the current Doctor, and said that HE chose the Coat of Many Eye-Searing Colors deliberately, because he didn't have to look at it. No substantiation, sadly, so I didn't just put it in, but I was there when he said it...
Metafictional! In one older Dr. Who episode, the Cybermen, now temporary allies to the Doctor, make his companion change her clothes because she bizarrely tried to travel to an ice planet in an 'Let's freeze to death horribly' outfit. Was this a Take That! at past episodes?
I can understand some people not liking Cindy's design, but here it makes it look like an objectively HORRIBLE design that no one liked, when it's REALLY not.
I get the feeling whoever added that was just VERY pissed about it just because it's a sexualized female design.
