Quite a few of the current examples aren't actually characters either; perhaps the trope should be renamed to just "Unfortunate Design".

Are those the right pictures for Jynx? The only differences I'm seeing is the expression and the nurse cap.

Yes, the difference is the color. Jynxs color was changed to purple because the old version resembled blackface.
