Grim in the Adventures of Billy & Mandy The Grim Reaper has a Jamaican accent because the voice actor Greg Eagles is from Jamaica and the creators Maxwell Atoms thought it was comic.
For the Mario and Luigi example. Wasn't it explained somewhere in the franchise that they're Italian?
