What on earth has this got to do with What Measure Is A...? Just confuses the trope. The difference between animals and plants is clear-cut, "abusing" a plant is entirely different to abusing an animal, annnnd oh yes, the trope has nothing to do with an ambiguous distinction between plants and animals. I just can't see what the logic was there...
Zero Context Example — could someone who knows what this is referring to put in a proper description?
