If a seafaring culture makes it to space, and after their First Contact with humans the programmers for the most popular Translator Microbes among humans decides it just makes sense to have their tongues translated with the heavy "pirate" accent in an In-Universe attempt to Painting the Medium, and as such most humans will hear them this way, but they don't "really" speak like that... What does this count as?

Norfolk? Stereotypical pirates have a West Country accent. It's nowhere near and nothing like Norfolk... *pedant*
