Doesn't this pretty much violate the Geneva Convention on taking prisoners? Or am I misunderstanding the trope? Just wondered if that should be mentioned.
Edited by Hula Hide / Show RepliesThat can get us deep into the woods, but as I understand it, the Geneva Convention does not require one to take prisoners under all circumstances—e.g. if you're outnumbered and behind enemy lines, there's no way you can take a prisoner safely. It only requires that if you accept a surrender, the prisoner be treated well.
The title heading of this trope currently reads "Shoot Everythingthat Moves", and should in all likelihood be edited to its intended form "Shoot Everything that Moves". If anyone has the ability to fix it (as I lack, or lack knowledge of), it would be appreciated to do so.
