"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMoved this entry here due to the question about its veracity.
- All the beaches on the German island of Sylt, in the Baltic, are specifically reserved for nudists ONLY; nakedness is compulsory and anyone seen wearing clothes will be told to leave. The authorities believe that this is the only way to protect sunbathers from harassment by "gawpers" and disapproving moralists.
- Is there a source for this? The official website of Sylt is completely silent about this, and the few pictures it has of beaches show people wearing bathing suits. Considering it has 40 km of beaches, and enough visitors to even have a train going to the island, this seems very doubtful. Besides, Sylt isn't in the Baltic sea — it's on the other side of Germany. Perhaps a different island is meant?
I think there are some men on all these pages. Why not remove the "girl", and leave it as Innocent Fanservice, Reluctant Fanservice, and Shameless Fanservice?
Edited by Levitator Hide / Show RepliesInnocent Fanservice Guy, Shameless Fanservice Guy and Reluctant Fanservice Guy are all redirects. Now that I see it, it should be removed from the "Always Female" index and be mentioned in the description that these tropes not exclusive to females.
Why did StarlightRainbow delete all those entries?
Working on cleaning up List of Shows That Need Summary Hide / Show RepliesI don't know. Why don't you ask them?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanEven if the cuts are decent, an edit reason is appreciated. I don't really know the examples so I can't really say.

Also, is a good counterpart to Sensible Heroes, Skimpy Villains (a la Good Bad Girl to The Vamp), where the heroes are no less Stripperific, likely, or is that one too many tropes?
Edited by azul120 Hide / Show RepliesIt would be, except that Insouciant is such a rare word that no one would get it.
Too many tropes, and the connection isn't there. This trope equally applies to heroes and villains.
