Should this be called "Secret Handshake"? It has a completely different meaning. a 'Secret Handshake' is an elaborate handshake used to identify yourself as part of a cult, club, or brotherhood, where as this seems to be just weird handshakes based on culture, with nothing secret about them.

The substance of this page has been moved to Cross Culturalhandshake, and Secret Handshake shifted to Handshake Substitute, where random pot holes are most likely to take it. A rewrite of this page to be about about secret handshakes as generally understood is Up For Grabs.
