Pulled from the main page:

* [[VideoGame/MetalGearSolid Otacon]] just wanted to make giant robots, and maybe go on a date with [[ColdSniper that nice sniper lady.]] Unfortunately...

First off, please don't hide the work wick under a character name, that's not proper troping.

Secondly, for those who haven't played MGS (like me, f'rex) the entry is pretty much a Zero Context Example. Please expand on how Otacon fits this trope before returning the entry to the main page.

Wouldn't this be more "Wrong man in the Right Place" type deal? The person (let's use HL as an example, so Gordon) isn't competent in what he's doing (fighting aliens/soldiers/etc.) but is in the right place to solve the situation (able to get to Xen and beat Nihilanth).

Moved from the main page, barring someone with knowledge about whether it's factual:

* The main character of ''Pelham 123'' seems to be this.
** Would that be the remake? I can't recall such a character in the original film.
