Archived discussion:

Honestly, papal infallibility is one of those misunderstood bits of Catholic doctrine. It's been declared all of once, to proclaim the Assumption of Mary. That said, there's an "ordinary infallibility" often cited that more or less boils down to "What Pope says goes until he or another Pope changes their mind." *shrug* I'm Roman Catholic. I still find it bizarre sometimes. — Fuzzy

Trouser Wearing Barbarian: Removed this, because it's not an example so much as Complaining About Movies You Dont Like.
  • I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. Adam Sandler must REALLY hate the thought of anyone mistaking him for actually being gay because his character is pretty much a gigolo. Don't worry Adam, no self-respecting gay man would even cameo in this trash.

Fighteer: Per the forum discussion here, the question has been raised as to why this Stock Phrase is being restricted solely to gays. There doesn't seem to be any valid reason to restrict it.
