While the Addams Family generally definitely fit this trope, I'm a bit uncertain about the "Gomez is implicitly a necrophile" line...while Morticia certainly *appears* vampiric, there's plenty of evidence for her not actually being undead but just supernatural (she eats—not exactly normal food, but not just blood either; she sleeps; she gives birth to a child; and in the TV show timeline at least she seems to have a reasonably human lifespan, being 35 at the time of the show, 22 in flashbacks to when she meets Gomez, and with a few references to her childhood that don't sound like they took place an unnaturally long time ago), and even if she is undead, I'm not sure that having sex with a vampire should really be considered necrophilia (it doesn't really seem equivalent to having sex with an actual, nonsentient and likely rotting, corpse)? There's evidence for him being OK with necrophilia in others (claiming Fester could "have any woman he wanted, living or dead", though I suppose that could still be referring to vampires/ghosts/other undead beings rather than simply corpses...if it ISN'T, then I guess it's evidence for FESTER being a necrophile and Gomez being OK with it), and obviously plenty of sex with Morticia in graveyards and other such Nightmare Fetishist things, but I don't recall there being any suggestion that he has sex with actual corpses?

Shouldn't the Game of Thrones example, which is currently under the Real Life category, be under Film/Book?

Also, shouldn't H. R. Giger be under Art?

Hey, does Zimmy of Gunnerkrigg Court really belong here, even more that example. Enjoying the rain isn't nightmarish - she was at her least creepy then. Unless I'm missing something, she doesn't enjoy the horror that accompanies her, she's just become deadened by exposure.

OK, this has been up for a couple of weeks without a response, so I'm just going to nuke the example. Hope this is OK.

"Pretty much any paraphilia is this."? Sure loads of them are, but there are also many that I think would definitely not be considered nightmare fetishism, just weird. Necrophilia and voreaphilia are included, but there's also attraction to trees, navels, and being filmed or on stage, which most people wouldn't think are particularly horrible at all.

Yeah, that entry is really questionable. The rest of the examples is poor, as well.

I'll bring it up here.

What's the page picture from? There's no link to anything and a vague caption.

Something to do with batman I'm guessing.

The quote was better when it was just.

Nightmare Fetishist "I'm afraid I don't see things like you do. I mean it: I'm afraid. What if the things I find beautiful drive you mad? What if they hollow you out like clever little squirrels getting nuts for the winter, except the nuts are your eyes, and winter is, I don't know, maybe the Rapture or something? And I'm just smiling while your face gets ripped apart because I think it's beautiful? — Genius The Transgression

And not

"I'm afraid I don't see things like you do. These things worry me sometimes, when I'm not looking at the night sky. So I spend a lot of time looking at the night sky, and not looking at your face and thinking about squirrels." — Genius The Transgression.

It was more appropriate back then.

Didn't we already have one? It either got taken down for some strange reason, or I'm just mistaken.
