i'm confused as to whether the gunsmith cats example fits the trope, after re-watching the scene to me it seemed less 'rally shot her earring off' and more 'rally shot off a chunk of her ear' and said event led to radinov crashing her car into a bridge and nearly dying from an explosion, i'd say her reaction to rally was quite justifed and not an overreaction, also wouldn't the fact that it is a bullet wound discount it from being minor?
