Re: Onan story, in the Religion section,

At that time, "levirate marriage" was a childless widow's only shot at a life that wasn't (as Hobbes would say) "solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short". Thus, when Onan pleasured himself on Er's widow, but "spilled his seed," she got screwed twice at the same time: (1) literally, because he copulated with her, and (2) figuratively, because he was cheating her out of her share of the family inheritance.

The following entry appears under Video Games:

It's rather amazing how many people will quote one line from Silent Hill 3: "Monsters? They looked like monsters to you?" Check this wiki's Fridge Horror page for the usual reaction.

However, there isn't an entry for Silent Hill 3 under Fridge Horror at Video Games.

That's a badly written entry. Examples should never rely on text elsewhere.

Anyone think the second image in this photo gallery might be worth considering next time we feel like a new page picture?

I find that the Abney Park song "Herr Drosselmeyer's Doll" is an inversion of this trope- the song is about a robot doll that is used by men, if you know what I mean.(wink, wink) However in their RPG Airship Pirates, Dolls are revealed to be self-aware but unable to show it in Neovictorian cities due to the fact that showing that they're sentient will cause them to be sent to the Change Cage.

So in context, the song is really about a sentient robot that is being raped but is unable to stop the continual rape because it's illegal for her to show that she's sentient.

Whether this is an inversion of this trope or belonging in another trope altogether, it really doesn't change the fact that this has become a very depressing song now that there's a proper context for it.
