Les Collaborateurs is the supertrope of The Quisling. The Quisling is someone who completely ingratiates themselves with the invader and obtains favors and a position of power in exchange.

So basically, there is no difference between the two. We're just keeping two separate lists of the same trope for no reason.

Where do I apply for trope pages to be merged?

Would anyone care to add the example of Exalt and Advent from XCOM? Though with Advent I'm not certain completely fits, since there seems to be a level of misdirection and/or mind control going on there.

The name comes from the French Real Life example. But in this case, maybe we should use the popular name. "Les Collaborateurs" is more or less how they described themselves. But the rest of France called them "Les Collabos".

I think this name would fit better. As a French, I would only use the word "Collabo" to describe a corrupt head of state who sides with the Empire.
