In the Film Blood in Blood Out, a huge prison massacre is orchestrated by the acting leader of the Latino gang which results in two-thirds of the prison gangs being wiped out, including the leaders of the opposing two gangs. It takes place just after on Dia de Los Muertos, a major holiday for the Latinos, (specifically Chicanos the ethnicity of the lead characters). It is pretty noteworthy since its near the end of the movie, had two gangs team up to take down a stronger gang, afterward one of the remaining gangs to attack the other one and results in the the Gang that wins being split up. Not to mention the name of the day it takes place, Some of the deaths are pretty horrific and gory especially on the directors cut.
Now I haven't completely read this page, but I bet this isn't listed, if this doesn't merit being listed, fine , I just wanted closure.

What if we have a date that is a well-known day, but the bad events may not necessarily have to do with what the day is known for? The Ides of March may be known for the death of Caesar, but it's significant to a number of other works where bad things happen, from The Fairly Oddparents (Denzel Crocker Day) to Back to the Future II (Death of George Mc Fly) to The Pushcart War (began that day) to Richard Lupoff's "Discovery of the Ghooric Zone" (first crewed landing on Yuggoth).
