Maybe a personal blimp would be safer. Of course, they take a long time to inflate. Ah, but once you're up there, the world is so peaceful...until you see the thundercloud in the distance.

This is something I've wondered for awhile. If flying cars ever do become the norm, or at least something you see out on the street (well, above the street), what the hell do you do if a flying car stalls in midair?

If a plane can glide down safely when its engine fails, a flying car ought to as well. But so many examples have not. I wonder why that is?
