"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman
Confused here as you haven't really explained how "sujet" is pronounced.
At first you think "Oh, Looks vaguely French". Therefore it's pronounced as per French or even English - "Su-Jet".
Then yu explain it comes from Russian. Oh right, Russian word transliterated into Latin. It's got a "J" in it still, so this is evidently the Eastern European version. therefore "Suh-YHET". Got it.
And then you give us the presumed original Cyrillic spelling Сюжет. Which doesn't have a "J"-sound in it at all, neither eatern nor western European. What it does have in Russian is the "ж", which is a sort of "Kh" thing. Therefore, "Suh-K'het".
Which IS it, please?
