The discussion pages aren't for you to sneak in an example where it doesn't belong.

I disagree: it fits exactly! And the page quote itself contains two Real Life Examples, incidentally.

Being No Real Life Examples, Please! does exclude Real Life examples, fitting or no. Also, the entries in the quote aren't a Real Life example - they happen In-Universe.

^^^^ We're not really concerned about such stuff. They don't belong here.
Edited by 37.32.187.16 It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.
"No Real Life Examples In This Topic" - shame, really, as the classic would be the time when British Prime minister John Major was preaching to the nation about his Back To Basics policy, which involved an intended return to conservative and more prescriptive moral values on conduct, behaviour, sexual ethics, et c. Major's vision was the Britain of the 1950's, that he looked back on with fondness and rose-tinted glasses.
One of many things which derailed this and made it look ridiculous was the death of one of his own back-bench Tory MP's.
Stephen Milligan MP was found dead wearing women's clothing, hanging from the ceiling, with a drug-saturated orange segment stuck in his mouth. It turned out he'd been perfoming auto-erotic stimulation on himself whilst taking drugs intended to enhance his sexual stimulation. The nation was most amused.
