Calling someone *insert word for religious person* for not dropping all religious habits seems to be a reverse-No True Scotsman and just as nonsensical in my opinion.

Is this page solely for catholics, or can examples be listed of people of different religions who share the trait. For example, famous atheist Richard Dawkins has expressed he has something of a soft spot for the Church of England in which he was raised.

While the origin of the trope as applying to catholics makes sense, it seems overly restrictive to keep it limited to a single religion. Perhaps change the trope name to one more generic, and add a mention in the description that this seems to apply to catholics more than other christian denominations.

This is so a Catholic thing. Other denominations should secede and get their own page. They're good at that :P
