Seeing as your body still needs to be alive when the organs are removed, it should be pretty much impossible for a parent who wants to donate to their child to do exactly the kind of damage to himself needed for him to become brain-dead, without dying all the way, AND then making sure that there's immediately ER-equipment around to stop their body from dying further.

will hospital actually pass on organs from clearly donation motivated suicides? (parent killing themselves to save their child) in real life? Seems like a breach of ethics.
