There is probably something better over all for the page image than something on the cruder side like the current image.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynmanit occurs to me that there seem to be two main variants of this trope, and the article might be improved by making that clear: 1) Where defeating her is a prerequisite to marriage, but does NOT require marriage (for instance, in the A Song of Ice and Fire example, Ygritte wasn't required to marry Jo by wildling custom, it is just that defeating her would be a prerequisite. (basically "You must defeat me before I will consider marriage") 2) Where defeating her means she doesn't have a choice but to marry you (basically "If you defeat me, I'll marry you"- the difference being that if you win, then you are engaged, as opposed to the first type, where it was merely a prerequisite)
Is the second panel of the trope image REALLY necessary? I think that the trope could be illustrated more succinctly with only the first panel.
