Re: Aztec heart removal and ribs etc: I seem to recall a program, not mythbusters but like it, using period accurate tools on a replica human torso attempting via the ribs unsuccessfully for a long time, then stopping, apparently having a flash of inspiration, making a small cut below the ribs, and pulling the heart out in about 15 seconds, which would have given enough time for the somewhat mind boggling number of sacrifices that were supposed to have taken place in a matter of days. (If I remember, the numbers said they had at most 45-50 seconds per heart in order to reach the supposed total in time)
I'm too lazy for a signature. In the middle of(Nudo e selvaggio Massacre in Dinosaur Valley; Cannibal Ferox 2), Betty follows John but gets caught in quicksand. John makes half-hearted efforts to rescue her until spears and blow-arrows start flying. He runs off screaming at what he perceives as "Gooks" until the natives bring him down and the native chief cuts out his heart and eats it.
Does DragonHeart fit in here? The heart is not really shown in the film, and it isn't really removed from the dragon, either.
(It also arguably doesn't beat, since the parts that we do see are more of an aurora-like light show).
Seems closer to AttackItsWeakPoint-type territory, or its own page instead.
