I notice the line from Going Postal "If any man is not free, then I too am a small pie made of chicken" has been removed on the grounds that it's "Blind Idiot" Translation. I'm not sure it is, exactly, and even if it is, I'm not sure it isn't this as well.

1. Vetinati says the translation isn't great; he doesn't say that it's totally useless. If he felt that the above quote didn't actually mean something, and that thing was broadly speaking what Bouffant intended to say by it, he probably wouldn't have bothered bringing it up.

2. Either way, it is a sentence of the structure "If [X is true], then I'm [something I'm clearly not]", intended to express the opinion that X is not true. Which is the trope.
