Type 3 seems to be more about them sharing a name. Larry the Cable Guy might be similar to Whitney, but you know when Whitney is being Larry, because he's called "Larry". Stephen Colbert the real person, on the other hand, is very different from Stephen Colbert from The Colbert Report, but the fact they're both called "Stephen Colbert" confuses the issue.

Do the Marx Brothers fit under here somewhere? I'm not familiar with their public appearances during their career, but since they played the same set of characters in every movie and were credited as those characters, I suspect they ended up in one of these slots.

Shouldn't Larry the Cable Guy be a type 3? Danial Whitney said in a interview that Larry was just that part of his personality played up.
