Ok, this ENTIRE page is a Furry or Disney Fan's Fan Myopia-induced version of Fan Vid. The examples should be merged into Fan Vid, and a re-direct for the title should be put in place (the Trope Repair Shop is full at the moment, otherwise I'd post this complaint there).
Among the worst things I've seen on this page is the insistence that amvs are never removed from services like You Tube. This is patently false. AM Vs get removed from Youtube all the time. Other video services are probably below most entertainment companies radars, though. Also the part about most videos being about animals.
I won't just erase all of someone's hard work without a consensus, but this trope page is filled with inaccuracies and is redundant.

I agree. The definition of an AMV is certainly not limited to just animals, and it will confuse those wanting to find the Fan Vid trope when searching "AMV" (such as what just happened to myself).
